About Me
I am a dedicated 20-year-old college student currently working towards a teaching qualification. This September, I will begin gaining valuable hands-on experience in childcare, which will serve as an excellent foundation before starting my teaching degree. Eager to broaden my skills and deepen my understanding of child development, I have decided to offer babysitting services alongside my studies.
In addition, I will be attending UHI Perth to complete a Childcare Practitioner qualification, further enhancing my knowledge, practical experience, and ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. My goal is to combine academic learning with real-world experience to deliver the highest standard of care and support for every child in my care.
My Experience
I have previous experience working at AirThrill, where I was responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children as they enjoyed large inflatable play areas. This role required close attention to health and safety procedures, proactive supervision, and the ability to respond quickly to ensure a fun yet secure environment.
This experience has inspired me to further develop my skills and knowledge in childcare, and I am now looking to expand my expertise to support children’s learning, growth, and development in a variety of settings.
My Qualifications
I hold both an HNC and HND in Musical Theatre, giving me a strong background in creativity, performance, and engaging entertainment — skills that I love to bring into working with children to make activities fun and stimulating. I am also currently working towards my Childcare Practitioner qualification, which will soon enhance my knowledge and skills in providing high-quality care and support for children.
