My Experience
I don’t hold a qualification in childcare, but I do have three younger brothers who I helped with growing up, so I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. I helped change nappies and feed my brother as a newborn, and helped with his medication as he was in hospital at just a few months old with some complications. I helped with taking my brothers to school, picking them up, homework, reading, etc. I have also babysat for family members and friends before. I did work experience in a primary school as part of my GCSE qualifications and realised I’m good at handling difficult situations with children too. I’m good at adapting food choices, my two youngest brothers are incredibly picky eaters so I’m used to making funny meals.
