My Summary

My Experience

I have many years of experience working with children of different ages and learn from a wide range of backgrounds, supporting their educational, social, and emotional development. I am currently working within the Foundation Stage at a local primary school, while also studying the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to refresh and strengthen my knowledge in line with current best practice.

My experience includes helping children build self-confidence, develop positive communication skills, and manage challenges such as friendships, emotions, and transitions. I am trained in safeguarding and always place children’s wellbeing, safety, and emotional security at the heart of my practice.

In addition, I am a Parent Governor at my child’s school, which has further strengthened my understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, child development, and partnership working with families. This role reinforces my commitment to providing a secure, respectful, and supportive environment for every child.

I use a hands-on, engaging approach to care, combining learning with play through activities such as crafts, reading, cooking, imaginative play, and outdoor exploration.

My Availability

I offer flexible childcare tailored to the needs of families. I am available weekdays, evenings, weekends, and during school holidays, with the ability to adapt to short-term or ongoing arrangements. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your specific childcare needs and schedule.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour

My hourly fee covers childcare, learning support, and age-appropriate activities. Additional costs may apply for outings, meals, or late finishes.
