My Experience

I have worked in nurseries for 6 years, caring for children aged 0–5 years, and during this time I progressed to the role of Room Leader and Third in Charge. My role has given me extensive experience in supporting children’s daily routines, planning and delivering activities to encourage their learning and development, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment through safeguarding and first aid practices. Alongside this, I have been babysitting for local families for 8 years, gaining hands-on experience with bedtime routines, mealtimes, and homework support. I have also supported children in after-school clubs, where I encouraged social skills, teamwork, and independence through fun and engaging activities. These experiences have allowed me to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents, and given me a well-rounded understanding of childcare in different settings.

My Qualifications

I have a Level 3 Early Years Education Qualification, as well as multiple other qualifications, such as ‘Safeguarding’, ‘Understanding Autism’, ‘Leadership’, ‘Fire Marshall’, ‘Food & Hygiene’ etc. I also have a DBS check, as well as a Paediatric First Aid.

My Availability

I am available throughout the week, at any times. Though I am open to shift work, I would prefer set hours where possible. With notice, I can also become available for weekend work.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

While I know that childcare can be very expensive for families, I try to keep my fees at a rate that is affordable for parents that may need to work. For nannying, I charge £15 an hour, though babysitting I charge £14. Please be aware that these prices are based on up to 2 children, and may increase for every additional child.
