About Me
My name is Nia, I’m 35 and live in Leyton. I work for a youth charity as well as in the beginning of starting my own business, offering ADHD coaching and training. I’m looking for work to support me stepping back from my full time job to focus on setting up my practice. I love working with children and have a good understanding of working with those who are neurodivergent.
My Experience
I have worked with young people for over 8 years, as well as volunteering with Girl Guides and running education sessions in schools and small charities. My personal values are humour, creativity, optimism, empathy and discovery and I live by these everyday. I love to help children learn and have fun and am able to discipline in a calm kind and patient way. I’m also a great cook and I am great with pets!
My Qualifications
I am first aid trained (2024) and have mental health first aid. I am regularly DBS checked (enhanced) as part of my work in youth work.
My Availability
I current work full time so evenings and weekends are my availability however, if offered a role for 21hrs or more a week I would step back from full time work.
