About Me
I’m very passionate about children’s wellbeing and development. I know how to provide a safe and nurturing environment as I regularly babysit and give extra support to children in my family when needed. I’ve completed a childcare course with the company Tigers, which helped me understand the development and safeguarding needed with children. I’m skilled in building positive relationships with children, creating an engaging environment and maintaining a high standard of care. I am highly responsible, adaptable and committed to supporting every child’s growth.
My Experience
I display leadership when I babysit. I have also learned to be patient, remain calm in stressful situations and take initiative to keep the children cared for and safe. I babysit once every second week and I have done so for the past 5 years.
I have good teamwork and communication skills. I volunteered with the children's rights company Aberlour, to create awareness of children’s right. I worked alongside a team of other volunteers to make an animated video highlighting the importance of children understanding their rights.
I am a kind individual, I previously attended a youth club once a week and would help the staff with setting up activities, selling food in the shop and cleaning up after.
