About Me
I am a compassionate and dedicated individual passionate about supporting children’s growth and development. With hands-on experience volunteering in early years units and orphanages, as well as assisting in primary school classrooms, I bring patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach to caregiving. I aim to create a safe, fun, and educational environment for children while supporting their emotional and social development.
My Experience
I have gained practical experience in childcare and early years education through a variety of roles. As a teaching assistant, I supported the children with reading, writing, and classroom activities, while helping with extracurricular programs and student engagement. At an early years unit and local orphanage in Thika, Kenya, I assisted young children with learning activities, organized play sessions, and provided emotional and physical support. I have also supported athletes with disabilities in the Paraplegic Volleyball Team in London, helping organize sessions and promoting teamwork and inclusivity. These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment for children.
