Hi! My name is Safiyah, and I’m an enthusiastic and caring 18 year old with a strong passion for working with children. I may be young, but I bring years of hands-on experience through babysitting for family and friends, as well as professional experience as a Teaching Assistant, especially supporting children with special educational needs.
I truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel confident in themselves. Being closer in age often helps me connect with them more easily, and I find that kids feel comfortable and excited around me. I’m reliable, patient, and always bring positive energy to any environment.
Families I’ve worked with often tell me how much their children enjoy spending time with me and are always asking when I’ll be back! I'm passionate about making a difference in children's lives, and I always strive to create a safe, supportive, and fun space for them to thrive.

My Experience
My main experience stems from my younger sister with SEN. Ever since I can remember I have been the mother figure to her. This has helped me gain alot of experience in children with SEN.
Professionally I have been a teaching assistant and in this role I also had to work with children with SEN. I also have done alot of work experience in schools, working with all types of children including Non Verbal children, autistic children etc.
My Qualifications
I have gained passes in all my GCSES, including maths and English.
I have a St John's Ambulance certificate in first aid.
My Availability
I am available every day and occasionally overnight.
