About Me
Hi, my name is Martina.
I have lived in the Tendring area for over 12 years now. For the first six years I worked as a carer then went into work as a support worker in schools for special needs children. My hobbies are cooking,decorating and going for long walks with our Husky along the beach. I am a very friendly and approachable with heaps of patience.
My Experience
Hi, my name is Martina. I have experience working with children and young people with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PLD, OCH, Cerebral Palsy and Selective Mutism. During this time, I have also developed my basic BSL skills.
I am passionate about the work I do. Through patience, consistency and genuine care, I strive to bring out the best in each of my students. My aim is to help every young person build confidence, develop a sense of self-worth, and feel equipped to face life’s challenges as they grow. I use a centred and individualised approach, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of every student.
