My Summary

My Experience

I have worked as a nanny/ tutor since Jan 2018. I initial worked as a cover nanny whilst looking for FE tutoring jobs, however I loved working with the one year old and their family so much that I stopped looking for teaching work, took on another family and Nanning became my full time job! During Covid a newly relocated family asked me to cover the early years curriculum for their then 4 year old and I have been working with this family ever since. To date I've worked with five different families, mainly looking after babies until they reach reception age. I keep the child engaged via creative play and visits to: museums, galleries, libraries, children's playgroups, playgrounds and parks. Although I live in Brockley SE London, I have travelled to: Hackney, Shoreditch, Haggerston, Belsize Park, Camberwell and Clapton for work.

In addition to the above I have extensive experience working as a Drama and English tutor/teacher in FE Education. As an FE English teacher I worked as a specialist support with learners who need bespoke guidance and support. The barriers to learning I have supported include: dyslexia, autism, ADHD, emotional and mental health barriers and 2nd language speakers.

I am also a trained actor (with a past history working in theatre and TV) and still have an acting agent.

MA Theatre Directing, BA Community Theatre Arts, L5 Teaching literacy, DET.

My Availability

I am available Mondays - Fridays (Tuesdays up to 2.30 pm only). Ideally I'd like to work daytime hours from 10am - 6pm. I am happy to do the odd evening or weekend.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

£18 - £45 depending upon what is wanted and how many children. From £18 for babysitting, (plus a taxi home for late nights) up to £45 for tutoring.
