About Me
Hi, I am an experienced, qualified Nanny who is very calm, patient and caring. I was previously looking after a 5 year old little boy in Lindfield, West Sussex from 7.45-8.45am and then 3-6pm Monday to Friday. However the family had their 2nd baby at the beginning of February 2013 and the mum took maternity leave. I enjoyed looking after the little boy immensely and he was a joy to be with. I have an excellent reference from the family.
I have since had my own daughter, who was 4 in August 2017 and started school in the September. I would be free in the day in between the school run. I am also happy to help out with housework, any house admin work and also walking dogs.
I am reliable, trustworthy and confident and I have my own large car with a full clean driving licence.
I love spending time with children and enjoy being out and about, going for walks, going to the park and for picnics in the warmer weather. I enjoy taking children to playgroups/soft play centres, so they can develop their motor skills and interact with other children. I also like being indoors doing rainy days crafts and baking. I am a keen cook who enjoys creating nutritious meals and can cater for food intolerances and allergies.
My Experience
As well as having my own child and being a stay at home mum with her, I have gained lots of childcare experience over the years since taking my qualification in 1995. I worked as a sole charge Nanny in 2 roles with children aged 12 weeks to 4 years.
I have also cared for 4 girls from 2 families on an occasional basis over 16 years and have seen them grow up from newborns.
My Qualifications
City and Guilds (NVQ Level 2) award in Caring for Children 0-7 years. This included work placements at a Primary School and a Nursery School.
