About Me
I'm passionate about working with children. I am a qualified primary teacher (looking for a career change) and have worked in all aspects of childcare since I was 16.
I am happy to offer extra tutoring also.
My Experience
I studied Early Childhood Studies at University whilst working at a pre-school (working with children of ages 0-5), a youth centre (children aged 8 -18) and as a carer/personal assistant for a 1 year-old disabled child which involved tube feeds and a 16 year old disabled child which involved manual handling, personal care and feeding.
I have also worked at a special needs charity for five years which involved caring for children from ages 8-19 with all ranges of special needs and disabilities.
Since then, I have qualified as a primary school teacher with experience in Reception, Year 1 and Year 5.
I have recently renewed my First Aid training.
I have a full clean driving licence and my own car.
My Qualifications
BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies
First Aid (including paediatric)
PGCE in Primary Education.
