Hi, my name is Judith, and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, living in Orpington, close to Priory Gardens, with a large driveway for easy and quick drop-offs.
I like to provide a loving, caring, home from home experience for the children I look after.
I have 3 children of my own aged 16, 20, and 31yrs and have over 15yrs experience in childcare.
Whilst caring for children within my home, I also have a lovely playroom full of activities for learning and play.
I have a large garden with wendy house, castle, slides and ride ons etc, to encourage outdoor play.
I like to take the children out - to playgroups, and especially on the sunny days where I take advantage of parks, woodlands and activity areas.
I provide a caring, happy and positive environment to encourage children's development within their own age, stage and abilities.
I am also Mencap registered.
My Experience
I have worked as a creche worker, a nursery assistant within 2 x nurseries, as a teaching assistant in a primary school and as a childminder for the past 13 years.
My Qualifications
Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' in January 2020. I have a Level 4 Diploma in Child Psychology and an NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care and Learning Development, plus various others such as first aid, safeguarding children, healthy eating, and behaviour management etc, and I have passed the HEYL Silver award.
I have also been at college for the past 5 years learning Spanish.
My Availability
I am available 8am till 5.30pm Monday to Thursday. (Possibly Friday)

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I charge £6.50 per hour for 8am-5.30pm. Charges are negotiable dependant on your requirements.
I accept Childcare Free Early Education funding. (additional charges may apply)
Term time only contracts available.
I accept any Government or Work Voucher systems.

My daughter has been at Judy’s for nearly two years and I can’t emphasize enough how happy we’ve been. Judy’s setting is warm and friendly, and my daughter loves spending time there. Even more impressively, she has helped my daughter achieve loads in terms of her phonics and she is confident now with all of her letters (and she’s only 3!) - she wouldn’t have got this level of attention and support to achieve this is in a nursery setting.
More importantly though, Judy has helped my daughter to really build her confidence and I have personally found her support and advice genuinely invaluable. She’s been incredibly helpful and flexible at every turn and I can’t imagine sending my daughter anywhere else - we won’t be using a pre-school in the year before my daughter attends school as we know she is getting everything she needs at Judy’s.
I’ve also been so impressed that she takes them out every day, whether this be to the park or clubs so that they have an opportunity to spend time outside and/or with larger groups of children.
We feel genuinely lucky to have found Judy!

Judith just started helping us out very last minute as our last childminder had to suddenly go on bed rest . With little time to find someone, I was very stressed and it was daunting trying to find someone to care for our little boy. I super grateful to find Judith & to add to this I could tell straight away from meeting that she adores her job, and is a lovely person. Thank you for putting my mind to ease Judith & already caring for our son!

I came across Judith when I started looking for a childminder for my daughter. Though my requirement did not suit the availability Judith was able to offer at the moment, she kindly offered to share my requirements with her fellow peers with whom I am now in talks. Thank you Judith!
