About Me

I am currently seeking part time work in and around Tunbridge Wells. Ideally 2 plus days a week however I am flexible.

I am a very positive, outgoing, energetic person who loves the outdoors. I have previously ran my own business in childcare, however I am now seeking employment as a nanny or maternity nurse with a family that I can become part of.
I have worked over 15 years with children of all ages and abilities. All my previous roles have contributed to my success in providing the wants and needs for each child as an individuals, building confidence in their ability to achieve; academically, physically and sociably and providing a caring environment, along with stimulating play and learning activities; offering, support, affection and friendship, in turn building up a trusting relationship with the children and their families which gives them all a sense of security, encouragement and confidence.
In addition to this, I have excellent numeracy and literacy skills, time management, interaction and communication skills (written and verbal). I am proactive, able to use my own initiative whilst being organised, reliable and punctual. I am very enthusiastic within my work, am able to multi task and work well in a team or as an individual. All of which I feel are key components in any working environment.
I am happy to be flexible in the role; therefore do overnight stays or extended hours if necessary; participate in family meetings. Alongside this I feel it is important to maintain a firm but fair approach with the children, to create a fun and safe learning environment for them.
