About Me
* We have a private Facebook page (that only parents can access) where we posts photos and videos of the childrens activities each day. This gives parents piece of mind and also creates a talking point to talk with your child about what they have been doing each day.
Hi. My husband (Paul) and I are your local registered childminders. We live in a quiet cul-d- sac in central Sandhurst with our two children.
We can offer full or part time care for children aged from 12 months upwards. Our working hours are from 7.30 am to 5.30pm, (6pm upon request) Monday to Thursday. We are able to do the school and nursery run for Uplands school and pre school, and can offer holiday care.
We are also happy to offer term time only care.
We offer a "home from home" environment where children are encouraged to learn at their own pace with both a male and female role model to guide them. As there are two of us, we are able to split the children into older and younger groups so that we can focus on age appropriate activities.
We are an active bunch and enjoy taking the children to toddler groups, to the library, the park and to feed the ducks. We have a wide range of toys for various ages and plenty of art and crafts materials as well as messy play, cooking, gardening and vegetable growing activities. We use the outdoors as much as possible, learning through nature, which has been proven to lower stress and anxiety and promote wellness.
We have redeveloped an area of our garden to make a specific children's play area complete with climbing wall, rope ladder, swings, slide, water tray, digging and planting areas

We are both trained in peadiatric first aid and have a clear crb checks.
I am registered with Ofsted and was very pleased to be awarded a "Good" grade.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £5.00 per hour
£55 per day (term time only rates are slightly more @ £57 per day)
Wrap around school care is £20 per child, per day (£15 for after school only)
10% discount for siblings

Kristi and Paul provide a warm and caring home environment for my son, who has been with them for a year (since he was just under a year old).
They involve the children in lots of activities (library, walks, garden play, learning, parks) and seem to genuinely enjoy their work with the children. Highly recommend :-)

Kristi has been looking after my 1 year old daughter part time for 3 months now, she has settled in really well and is always full of smiles when I drop her off and pick her up which has made the transition of going back to work a lot easier.
My daughter has enjoyed trips out to the park, library and toddler groups but Kristi is especially good at getting them involved in creative, messy and educational activities. She has bought home potatoes grown from their garden, as well as making cakes and lots of paintings including a Father's Day card.
My daughter has made good friends with another little girl that Kristi looks after as well as both of Kristi's own children.
I would definitely recommend Kristi as a childminder to other parents.
