About Me
I am an Ofsted inspected childminder who has been childminding for sixteen years and have twice been graded as outstanding. I am a member of the PACEY and hold full Public Liability Insurance and a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate. My background before childminding was nursing, with twenty years experience. I was a Ward Sister and a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, I decided to take a career break when my children were young to spend more time with them. I am a mum of two, a son aged 21 who is a recent university graduate and daughter aged 26 who is a university graduate and working as a Paralegal.I am married to a chartered civil engineer and we live in a well proportioned house with large enclosed gardens in Meols.
My Experience
I have been childminding for sixteen years and am registered with Ofsted. I was recently inspected and was graded as 'outstanding'.
My Qualifications
I am a Registered General Nurse and hold a Diploma of Higher Education in Health studies. I also have a Dipolma in Higher Education in the Children and Young Peoples Workforce. I have a Certificate for the Introduction to Childcare Practice, and level two qualifications in Health and Safety and Food Hygeine. I hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
My Availability
My service is open Monday to Friday 07.30-17.45 hrs.
I collect children from Our Lady of Pity School Annexe site and from the pre school at the annexe. I also collect and put children onto the school buses which run along the top of Bertram Drive, on Birkenhead Road.
I provide term time and school holiday cover. I do not work Bank Holidays.
My home is accessible by bus and train. There is plenty of parking space on the drive and on the road for your pick ups and drop offs.

I provide teachers term time only contracts and term time & holiday cover contracts.Please ring me to discuss which cover suits you and your childrens needs.. Please contact me to discuss my fees.
