My Summary

My Experience

I have over 20 years of experience, working closely with families to provide safe, high quality care and education to children aged from 3 months - 16 years.

I started my training on the job as an apprentice, gaining vital practical experience and knowledge as i went, alongside completing all coursework for my nvq's and other specialist training courses.

I first worked in a small domestic childcare setting as a nursery nurse before progressing onwards to a manager position, in which during this time we achieved OUTSTANDING status from our OFSTED inspections!!

I then moved onto work as a baby unit supervisor for a large nursery setting, i was responsible for up to 18 babies all under the age of 2 years and up to 5 members of staff at any time.

After years of gaining nursery nurse/supervisor experience I wanted to move my career onwards but felt somewhat limited. I wanted to move away from the larger institutionalised type of settings and into a more intimate, personalised, child focused, and montessori style of learning that fits better with my own beliefs and style of teaching! So i chose to start nannying and i haven't looked back since!

I have been nannying since 2014 and really enjoy working closely with friendly families and pets in their own homes and environments.

As of 2022 i have been working as a lvl 3 TA/ Teacher in a SEND school in Malvern. This was to gain further experience and hand on knowledge in the SEND sector.

My Availability

Currently available for part time. 2/3 days per week.

• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (net)
• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
