I’m a qualified professional Nanny and have worked in the industry for over 20 years, providing bespoke childcare to local families in Hertfordshire.
Newborns through to school years, providing support & advising through all stages of child development. From breastfeeding/weaning & toilet training to supporting school studies, friendships & building confidence.

Our week would include a range of age-related activities in & out of the home. To enhance social skills/understanding of the world/sensory play/literacy & physical development. Supported with adequate sleep/quiet decompression time & balanced nutritious meals.
I have a full UK driving license/Ofsted registration/DBS & paediatric first aid.
Extra duties may include:

I am active in daily life & enjoy spending my spare time at the gym/cooking & walking our family dog. A huge interest is studying child psychology & gentle parenting techniques.
I live with my partner of 24 years and our two children age 17 & 12. One attends full time college in London whilst I home educate our youngest. I’m looking for flexible, ad hock/babysitting to fit in with home ed life. We have loving grandparents who support us all, allowing us to work. We also have a cheeky Cavapoo & very loving cat.
My Experience
Since obtaining a Btec National Diploma in Childhood Studies in 1998 I have been working with local families as a sole charge private nanny. Supporting parents, allowing them to continue in their own professional careers, knowing their children are cared for in a safe, nurturing/environment.
I have a wide range of experience with babies/toddlers- school age, covering all developmental stages.
All previous positions have been long term & ended with the youngest starting school.
As a mother myself, I understand the importance of work/life balance & the impact secure childcare has on a family.
Supporting my own children’s emotional/social/education & important milestones has provided valuable transferable skills.
