Outstanding in every sense of the word

Amanda and her team genuinely care about the children, their welfare and their development. The first thing I noticed when we went to look round is just how happy, comfortable and confident all of the children were.

It didn’t take long for the warmth and kindness of the setting to settle and calm my own daughter. She’d not got on too well at nursery for a variety of reasons and we switched to a childminder hoping that we’d see some improvement, but we were nervous. Amanda and her team put our minds at rest immediately. It only took a couple of settling in sessions before it felt like our daughter had always been going there.

Amanda’s service is really reasonably priced and extremely flexible. Nothing is ever too much for her and her family and they go to great lengths to accommodate your bespoke childcare requirement.

I cannot recommend her highly enough. You won’t regret it!

Highly recommended

My daughter has been with Amanda since she was 10 months and is now nearly 2 and a half, she loves it and always full of excitement when I pick her up. My work means the amount of care my daughters needs over the year can change and I was concerned about finding a childcare provider that could accommodate that, but Amanda has been incredible. I’m now pregnant with my second child and I will most definitely be sending them to Amanda, it’s a relief to know you have a childcare provider you trust to take care of your child and provide them with a fun and educational day.

Simply Outstanding

I cannot recommend Amanda & Peter highly enough, they are simply amazing!!
My son has been with them since he was 16 months old, he is now over 8 years old, and he has loved every single day and school holiday he has spent with them, Victoria & Ruby.
The children are always out and about enjoying new activities, drop ins and parks. There are also plenty of activities for them to do on rainy days too, never a dull moment :)
I am heartbroken that we are moving away from the area, I wish I could take them with me.
Not only has my son had the best childminders but I have also gained the greatest friends in them and will miss them all hugely.
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, finding childcare can be a minefield but I knew the moment I met you both that Charlie would be in the best hands and over the years that has been proven time and time again, we love you guys xxxx

Great!

I am so happy I moved my son to Amanda and Peters. He did go to a pre school but I wasn't that happy with it and was looking for something more personal. They certainly provide this. I love the fact the children are taken out so much - really they only stay in when it's raining. Lots of different activities are done when indoors as well (including the lovely garden in the summer) my son will go to big school this September but I will definitely be using Amanda for any childcare I need in school holidays etc.

Absolutely great !

I’m so lucky to found Amanda!
My little one went to Amanda when she was only 4 months as I had to go back to university. I was so nervous but Amanda and Peter were great and always happy to help! My little, now 1,5 years loves going to them. She is a active baby and they keep her busy with all activities. I love that they are taking children to so many different places!

Amazing care

My daughter has been withAmanda and Peter since 8 months and wow what a difference it has made to my life as a busy single mum. From a premature girl she is now aged 3 and bubbling with laughter and confidence. Amanda and Peter have taken her on as their own but they have involved me as well in updating me about her progress, naughtiness, laughter and most of all the love they have shown her shines through when I get to spend time with her at the weekend. I can’t thank them enough for all they have done for Kaysie but for supporting me as well in trying to raise her as a single mum. She’s a reflection of their love and care they have provided to her for the past 3 years. I will always be grateful and I love you both and Victoria and Ruby of course for keeping her entertained.

Amazing childminders

It is always difficult leaving your child with someone else to be looked after and we had been to see many childminders but when we found Amanda Childminding it was the first time we walked away feeling warm, happy and comfortable to leave our child whilst at work.
We genuinely believe that Amanda and Peter care deeply for our daughter. When we first left our daughter with Amanda and Peter she was weaning which wasn't going aswell as we would have liked but with the support of Amanda and Peter our daughter is now eating lots of different foods.
One big reason for also choosing Amanda's Childminding is that the children go out and explore different places to the extent that our daughter has a better social life than us.
We also love reading the blog and seeing pictures of what our daughter has been up to in the day.
We highly recommend Amanda and Peter.

Wow - “thank you Amanda and Peter”.

Returning back to work after 4 years was extremely daunting, knowing I had to find childcare for my son and daughter was very stressful.
I found Amanda and Peter and instantly knew they were right! They are fabulous, all the children have a great bond. There is always lots going on for the children, outings, arts and crafts and a great garden for the children to enjoy themselves in.

Amanda was great at keeping me updated during the settling in period. It didn’t take long before my little ones loved spending their time there.

I highly recommend Amanda and Peter, they are both really friendly, professional and reliable. We are very lucky to have such a smooth experience!

Stepping outside the box to save us!

Amanda and Peter saved my sanity and carer when they accepted to step a little outside the box where no other childminder was able to! Having my son attend a small specialist provision made finding a childminder extremely difficult. Amanda not only agreed to go the extra mile for my son but reassured me of her SEN knowledge. They are both understanding, compassionate and we'll experienced in their field and have made the whole process much easier for my family.

Childminder that every parent dreams of!

Amanda and Peter are the childminders every busy, working parent needs! My job requires me to travel long distances away from Worthing and my husband works near Gatwick airport, so having that peace of mind that my boys are in safe hands is priceless.
My youngest goes there full time and, despite being a clingy child, settled in straight away (believe me, he doesn’t just go to anyone!). He loves the regular outings to parks and playgroups, and gets on so well with the other children. He always heads off to Amanda’s happy and confident. My older child is collected every day from Lyndhurst (and cared for full time during holidays) which just makes the whole thing a breeze! They are both fed healthy, home cooked food for dinner (thanks to chef Peter), which is a huge bonus, as I am quite particular about my children not eating rubbish.
I was so stressed when I started looking for someone who could meet all my needs, but Amanda has well and truly exceeded my expectations. I can not recommend her enough!
