My Summary

My Experience

I have worked for my current family for 2 years in January and it will be coming to an end in July as my youngest charge will be going to school. As in my previous families I have built up a strong relationship with both children and parents. I have established a wide network of other child care providers to promote social skills and interaction with other children of varying ages, examples include taking children to playgroups, trip to parks, picking local produce at garden centres and story time at the library. I also set up arts and crafts activities too to promote creativity.

In my current role I take and collect the oldest child from school. I also do reading homework with him. The youngest child attends preschool twice a week and the days she doesn’t attend are spent with me. Both children have activities which I am responsible for taking them to so am good at time management. I also cook for them in the evening.

I was also with my previous family for almost 4 years and the duties were very similar, school runs, preschool run and various activities that the children attended.

In addition to the above I worked in a nursery for 9 years working with babies through to preschool age.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 qualification where I qualified in July 2012 and have recently gained my first aid in paediatrics

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (net)
