MY NAME IS CLAIRE AND I AM AN EXPERIENCED OFSTED REGISTERED CHILDMINDER. I LIVE WITH MY HUSBAND IN A 4 BEDROOM HOUSE IN THE HAMLET OF STRIXTON. STRIXTON IS OFF THE A509 OPPOSITE WOLLASTON, THEREFORE PERFECTLY PLACED FOR THOSE PARENTS EN ROUTE TO OLNEY/MILTON KEYNES OR INDEED MILTON KEYNES TO WELLINGBOROUGH.
I AM A FRIENDLY OPEN PERSON WHO HAS A GENUINE LOVE OF BABIES AND CHILDREN. I OFFER A WARM, AND CARING ENVIRONMENT, WHERE THOSE I CARE FOR FEEL HAPPY AND SECURE, WHILST HAVING FUN.
I HAVE A WIDE RANGE OF TOYS AND NURSERY EQUIPMENT SUITABLE FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN OF DIFFERENT STAGES, INCLUDING HAPPYLAND TOYS, LEGO, LITTLE TIKES TOYS FOR USE INDOORS AND OUTDOORS (SLIDE, ROCKING HORSE, WATER TABLE ETC) WIG-WAM AND TRIKES AS WELL AS RIDE ON TOYS AND WALKERS AND MANY MORE. I PROVIDE DIFFERENT MATERIALS INCLUDING PAINT, CRAYONS, CHALKS AND GLUE ETC AS WELL AS A DOUBLE SIDED EASEL TO ALLOW THE CHILDREN TO CREATE AND EXPRESS THEMSELVES.
I ENJOY TAKING THE CHILDREN OUT ON REGULAR TRIPS TO THE PARK, LIBRARY, TODDLER GROUPS ETC. AS WELL AS TRIPS OUT FOR PICNICS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDING NATURE WALKS AND EXPLORING THE LOCAL COUNTRYSIDE AND FEEDING THE DUCKS, STORIES AND SINGING.
WE ALSO ENJOY BAKING CAKES AND BISCUITS ETC. (WE ESPECIALLY ENJOY EATING THEM!!)
I BELIEVE IN WORKING WITH PARENTS TO PROVIDE A CONSISTENT LEVEL OF CARE ENSURING ALL CHILDREN FEEL HAPPY AND SECURE WHILST IN MY SETTING.

I HAVE 20+YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A REGISTERED CHILDMINDER, AND HAVE WORKED IN A NURSERY FOR THE UNDER FIVES, AND IN A PLAYGROUP SETTING FOR PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN. I AM MOTHER TO MY NOW GROWN UP CHILDREN.
I HAVE LOOKED AFTER BABIES FROM AS YOUNG AS 8 WEEKS AND PROVIDED CONTINUED CARE THROUGH TO SCHOOL AGE UP TO THE AGE OF 8YRS AND BEYOND.
I ALSO HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.

I HAVE A FULL CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE, CHILD SAFETY SEATS AND I’M FULLY INSURED FOR BUSINESS USE.

Claire made our transition from home to childminder easy and stress free.
She took great care to help our daughter settle in, especially when our daughter had spend an extra amount of time with us at home, due to lockdown restrictions.
Claire has a great variety of toys and activities to keep children entertained as well as encouraging their interests.
We recommend Claire for anyone making that first transition to a childcare as easy and stress free as possible.
● Note: We can not rate food, as we provided our daughters meals.

Claire was wonderful during our time, she was so supportive and caring of both myself and my little one. I received photo updates and open communication regarding routines etc. I will, without a doubt, recommend her to anyone seeking a home from home, loving environment for their children.

Claire has been (and still is) the best childminder to my two children. Both of my sons were with her from the age of nine months and they absolutely love being with her. (My eldest son, who is now at school still asks I"can we go to Claire's today?" Which just about says it all. Claire makes sure that the children in her setting are happy and well cared for, she is reliable and always happy,(she also has a good habit of supporting parents, especially on those return to work wobbles that us mums have!) Claire has also given us great flexibility with picking up and dropping of the kids, and even with the distance we've stayed with her (a testimony in itself)
Bottom line is, if you are looking for an excellent childminder, then look no further.

Overall
When I was returning to work after having my Daughter I really struggled with the thought of having to leave her but Claire made the transition smooth and as easy as possible by providing a home form home environment with love care compassion and time. Over the years both me and my Daughter have formed a close bond with Claire and I don't know what we would do without her. She is always flexible and provides good communication on my daughters development. she encourages learning through play, self care and social development. I would highly recommend Claire to anyone. Claire is fun reliable considerate compassionate. Claire works hard to make sure the children in her care are safe and healthy at all times. When I asked my Daughter why she likes going to claires she said because 'she lets us do painting and splodging with our hands and because I love her!' not much more you can say!
