Hi my name is Abi, I'm a qualified nursery nurse and a mum to 3 boys.
I am a patient, fun, happy and trustworthy reliable person and seeking to work with children and their families within the community. I am there to help you raise your children and willing to follow any routines you may already have in place.
I really enjoy spending time outdoors whilst encouraging children to explore, gain knowledge and understanding of the world around us and to help develop and improve social skills.
Outside of work I enjoy shopping, socialising with friends, listening to music, but most of all spending time with my family.
I have a musical talent and I've played the piano for about 25yrs and passed exams upto grade 5.
I hold a clean full uk drving license and have my own car.
My Experience
I have almost 20 years experience of working with children and providing a stimulating and energetic play environment for a variety of cultures, ages and backgrounds.
I have previously been a nanny for 2 girls where I carried out a number of duties such as, school runs, preparing meals, potty training, tidying and cleaning of childrens bedrooms, making them aware of personal hygiene and best of all providing daily activities to help further develop the children's skills in all areas of learning.
I had my third child in 2012 and was working as a supervisory nursery nurse in a private day nursery in Cardiff. I worked there for 7 years.
I have worked with a variety of ages, the youngest being 6 weeks old.
I am currently a manager of a wraparound club based in a local primary school.
