About Me
Teaching young people is my passion and I am motivated by educational success. I have the ability to use various forms of communication to break down tasks for young people to understand. I have knowledge of young people with varied learning needs including special educational needs. I am hard working, patient and trustworthy.
My Experience
I have worked as a Learning Support Assistant and a Special Educational Needs Teacher before I became a qualified teacher so I have experience of working with young people with special learning needs. I have also recently completed a Level 2 qualification in Autism Awareness. I have experience of teaching children from ages 4 to 18. I have taught Citizenship, PSHE, Sociology and Health and Social Care at KS3, KS4 and KS5. Also English and Maths at KS1 and KS2; History, Geography and RE at KS2 and KS3. I am able to adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs, I am familiar with curriculum grades and GCSE/A level specifications for all the above subjects. I also have experience of supporting children with their phonics screening tests in KS1, as well as literacy and numeracy skills at KS1 and KS2.
My Qualifications
I am currently working in a secondary school teaching Sociology and a primary school supporting literacy and numeracy development. I have a 2:1 degree in Sociology and A level qualifications in Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology. I also have QTS and a teaching post graduate qualification.
My Availability
I am avaliable on Monday to Thursday after 5pm and weekends.

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
£12 per hour for babysitting.
£40 per hour for GCSE or A level tutoring.
£30 per hour for KS2/KS3 tutoring.
£25 per hour for KS1 tutoring.
