About Me
I have been in childcare for 20 years. I have worked as a nanny or within a nursery setting caring for children aged 5 months to 8yrs over this time.
I am a fun nanny with plenty of enthusiasm and lots of ideas of how to teach children through play. I like to build good relationships with both the children and the parents I work with so that everyone feels confident and happy. I am reliable and work hard to support families with day to day life, happy to be flexible when needed too.
Over my years caring for children i have undertaken a few different roles. I worked as a daily nanny as part of a nanny share for two families. I have been an after school nanny/holiday nanny and also a nanny for twins twice.
I have been responsible for daily care for the children, including arranging fun and educational activities,cooking healthy meals, doing light house work, children's washing and ironing. Taking the children to afterschool activities as well as arranging my own fun day trips out during school holidays.
I am a mother of two myself now, adding to my experience. I have two daughters aged 15 and 12 years old.
I have good, reliable childcare in place for my own children (both sets of grandparents within a minutes walk from my house) so will not be expecting to bring them with me.

My Experience

I have nannied for five families over 10-13 years and have loved and enjoyed every minute of it.
I have experience with babies through to 10yrs+.
I also have twin experience having looked after two sets of twins now
Most recently I have been working part time in a SEN school.
My Qualifications
Nvq level 3 in early years care and education.
Paediatrics first aid.
SEN experience.
