Hello there my name is Abbey, I'm 30 and am available for add hoc babysitting. I have worked in many childcare places and have 12 fully qualified years experience. I am a friendly, fun and enthusiastic person who loves children and being creative. I am living in Hedge End, Southampton and am looking to find families local to me. My experience is based around the early years (0-5) and I have also got specific skills, knowledge and qualifications in caring for babies. I like to be punctual, organised and to be able to plan things. I am confident to have sole charge and I am comfortable around pets. I look forward to hearing from you.
My Experience
I have worked with children aged between newborn and 12years, including special educational needs. I have worked in nurseries, a special needs school, both infant and junior schools either through education or full time work. I have also carried out lots of baby sitting, including day time/evening, bank holidays and over the christmas break.
My Qualifications
I have 7 GCSE'S from A-C grade, a GNVQ and level 2 in IT, a CACHE level 3 Diploma in Childcare and education, Paediatric first aid and Level 2 food hygiene, level 2 in team leading, level 4 in safeguarding and managerial experience.
I previously Managed a children's day nursery and have worked my way up from the bottom taking the knowledge from each setting that I have worked in and using that to make the provision the best it can be for those children.
My Availability
Add hoc weekend and possibly mid week evenings during school holidays.
