About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I am a family loving person. Previously a foster carer for teenagers and worked in retail for many many years. I moved to childminding when my children began school and I give it 110%. I love the outdoors and love doing family outings with all the children. I have always secrectly wanted to be a teacher and quickly discovered that childminding should be renamed 'teacher of the very young' and so I am in my element.
My Experience
I have 2 children of my own (7+9). I have been a childminder for 3 years. I am a member of the ncma (National Childminder Association),and a member of a Network. I run 2 childminders drop in groups, help run a softplay group, am a member of a childminders allotmant group. I take part in local council/ncma projects such as ECAT (every child's a talker) and free education for deprived 2 year olds. I am accredited to offer free education for 3+4 year olds. I am a community childminder (offering emergency and respite child care for the council). I am a support childminder (offering support to other childminders).

DHC (level 3 diploma in Homebased childcare) - GOT AN A
Basic Food Hygeine
Pediatric First Aider
ncma Quality Assurance
9 'O' levels, 3 'A' levels, BSc(hons) degree
Aways doing courses and workshops in various child related topics to constantly improve my skills

My Fees
- Childminding from £3.50 per hour
day time = under 5 years £4.00 ph, 5 years plus £4.50 ph
eves = £4.50 ph
weekend day rate = £5.00 ph
bankhols = double rate
Usually trips and food is included but some special events may have an additional charge (rarely)
