About Me
I live in Histon with my Husband and daughter, we have a Labrador and two cats who love children and enjoy lots of fuss. I am fully qualified at level 3 in childcare and education. Before I was a childminder, I was the senior nursery nurse in a day nursery in central Cambridge. The thing I enjoy most about my work is being able to work alongside parents to give their children the best start in life. I am down to earth, enthusiastic about my work, fun and friendly I am hard working and passionate about what I do. I provide a happy, fun, stimulating and safe environment/ activities for your child to learn, grow and play.
My Experience
I am a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse with 8 years experience working in a local nursery where i worked my way up and gained my qualifications, and have worked with children for 21 years, volunteering with a local group caring for disadvantage children and baby sitting.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and I am an accredited childminder. I also have a paediatric first aid certificate. I have attended many training courses since qualifying, including paediatric first aid, Child protection, ENCO training and several child development courses., Everyone in my house is fully CRB checked and OFSTED registered.
I am An accredited Childminder and Ofsted registered and a member of PACEY.
I offer affordable and reliable childcare for children aged 0-12 years in Histon, Cambridge.
I provide a happy, fun, stimulating and safe environment for your child to learn, grow and play.
My Availability
From September for school children only in term time. My currently available is before and after school care Monday to Thursday for Histon and Impington infants and junior school only. My hours of work are 8am-9am and 3pm-6pm Monday to Thursday. I offer affordable and reliable childcare for children aged 0-12 years in Histon, Cambridge.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£5.50 an hour which includes a snack tea. I am also happy to register for childcare vouchers and I’m already registered for tax free childcare.

Sheona has been my childminder now for around two years and she is absolutely brilliant! My girls love going there every week. My oldest daughter has autism and Sheona is absolutely fantastic with her! Such a wonderful environment, and I never have to worry when I know they are there!
