About Me
My name is Lindsey wilson and my childminder setting is called cherubs childcare Hadley. I am now based in Dawley Bank/Lawley Bank (we moved here in October 2021
I am a quality assured childminder and have been ofsted graded as good three times. I live with my son who is 20 years old my Husband, my daughter who is 2yrs and our friendly cat and dogs. One is a lurcher and the other is a cockapoo they both love the children.
The dogs are kept away during working hours. I have a full clean driving licence and 13 years experience working in a nursery and 10 years as a childminder.
I have always loved working with children and still do.
I take pride in my work and I’m very passionate about Making my parents and children happy with my service.
I am a very creative person so I plan lots of messy play, cooking and a wide range of experiences that the children enjoy and learn from. I like to take the children out on regular trips, provide outside play, visit play barns, local libaries, forest school, gymnastics and groups.
I have a play room that has been specifically designed for the purpose of childcare. My room is full of toys and has patio doors leading to the garden which can be opened out in warmer weathers for the children to rome in and outside freely. We have a large garden with a forest play area. It has a mud kitchen, water play and sand area. We have a large patio area for the children to ride bikes and scooters.
My setting is set out to be as natural and magical as possible with light colours and lots of twinkle lights. We are very much a curiosity approach setting where the children play with loose parts, wooden toys and natural objects. The children can access all the equipment as they wish. We have a writing area, small world area, book corner, home corner, messy play and play dough area where the children can play as they wish each day.
We do in the moment planing so each day of learning will be based on the children’s interests. I do introduce some topics in the setting like seasons and celebrations.
The children learn as they play and I carefully plan learning for each child’s stage of development.
I look after children from babies -5yrs in the day and I have older children after school and in the school holidays. We go out lots in the holidays to keep everyone entertained.
I work closely with other local childminders so the children get to mix with others regularly.
My Experience
I have worked with children of all ages over a 13year period in a busy nursery. Many of these years I have been a team leader before progressing onto a senior member of staff. I registed to become a childminder as its something that I have wanted to do for many years. I started on the1st july 2013

My Availability
I HAVE SPACES NOW STARTING JULY 18th

I work Monday to Friday 8.00am -6.00pm
Times can be discussed if needed a little earlier or later.
I accept Childcare vouchers, 15 and 30hr funding
I can offer full and part time places.
I can look after babies -15yrs old
I do school collections from HLC school and offer holiday care for all ages.
I have spaces in the week for under 5yr olds on a Friday and then my next spaces will be end July/ begin September 2023.
I have spaces for school pick ups and holiday care now. I do fill up my places very fast so advanced booking is best.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
Monday to Friday 4.50pounds/hour.
£4.50Hr for after school care and school holiday cover.
