About Me
Hi, my name is Jo, and I am 47 years old. I have an eleven year old daughter called Poppy, and a seven year old daughter called Evie. I have been married to my husband Nick since 2009.
I am a happy, positive and loving person who adores children of all ages.
I enjoy spending time with my daughters, taking them out to various groups and we love being creative at home doing painting, cooking, messy play and all sorts of fun activities.
Both of my children are now at school so I would be looking for a term time only position that I could do during school hours, although I could collect from Maidenbower School if longer hours were needed.
I consider the position of looking after a child to be a great privilege and responsibility therefore I set myself extremely high standards to ensure the children in my care are happy, healthy, safe and secure.
I have a full clean driving licence and my own car.
I am a non smoker.
My Experience
I have 22 years child care experience, with children of all ages. Before I went on MAT leave I was Assistant Manager of a large Day Nursery.
I have 9 years nannying experience with three different families.
Within my experience I have cared for children from newborn up to school age. I have looked after individual families children based at their home on an ad hoc basis, including some overnight stays.
I also have some experience and understanding of children with additional needs.
I consider having my own child to be the best experience of all and understand that your child is the most important thing in the world to you!
My Qualifications
I hold NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education. NVQ in Health and Social Care.
