About Me
Hi I'm Holly Robinson, I'm 26 years old and am a fully qualified primary school teacher. I have recently moved to the Inverness area after a brief stint teaching in Spain, the weather is slightly different here!
Education is incredibly important to me and I realise that some children need more attention than a teacher can give them in a class setting, that's why I also do private tutoring so I can offer a child 1:1 time to enable them to achieve their full potential and enjoy learning.
I am very caring and supportive in my approach to teaching and build confidence in children as they learn and succeed. I make sure that children undertake a variety of activities during each session that will engage tham and move them forward in their learning.
My Experience
I qualified as a teacher in 2010 and I have experience working with a number of different year groups from primary 2 up to primary 6. I have been employed in one school for 2 years working as a primary 6 and primary 4 class teacher. I have also worked in an International school in Spain for 4 months as a primary 4 teacher. In addition to this I have run an after school art and craft club and also a cooking club. During my time at my first school I also tutored primary 7 students in preparation for their SATS. As a class teacher I'm very familiar with the curriculum for excellence and am also able to recognise the individual learning styles of each child, this in tern allows me to recognise what help they need to progress. Tutoring allows me to give a child exactly what they need to help them in their studies and also spark their love of learning.
Your child's education is very important to me and I will cater tuition specifically for their individual needs.

My Fees
£20 per hour
I offer a free 30min first session which gives me an opportunity to informally assess your child in a friendly and relaxed manner in order to determine the best course of action and approach for further sessions.
