About Me
I am a patient, energetic and enthusiastic individual who enjoys and loves all things children. For me working with children is the most exciting job because there is never a dull moment. I enjoy seeing children going from natural curiosity to learning. for me this is what makes working with children so much fun as you will never have a boring day and they keep you on your toes.
I have always had a passion for working with children and therefore wanted to pursue a career to work with them. In order to pursue this I achieved a degree in Education and Childhood Studies with Religious Studies. I am therefore aware of the EYFS, the Children's act, safeguarding legislations and the required standards that is needed to work with children.
My Experience
I have experience of working with children 0-5 years both within a nursery setting as an assistant and as a classroom assistant at a primary school. Whilst at Gem's Nursery I played a very hands on role where I fed, cleaned and supported children in their learning through play. I participated in story times, art sessions and field trips.
Whilst, at Holy Trinity Primary School, I volunteered as a classroom assistant in year one. My role was to support children in their formal learning, giving more support to those who were thought to be struggling. I also had to do progress reports for pupil's literacy. I helped with Mathematics, literacy, reading and free form which included an art session or putting together puzzles and making masks.

My Availability
I am available 2 days per week from 7.30 .to 7.30 pm. Wednesday to Thursday, ocassional Saturday baby sitting.
I am looking for permanent positions but am willing to take on temporary positions as well.
