About Me
Hi, my name is Julie Lamb and I own and run Little Lambs Childminding within a spacious Grade 2 listed Farm House in Guisborough. I live with my Husband Martin and we have three children. Callum, who is twenty three and is away working in Japan on the J.E.T programme teaching children English in the Japanese schools. Ellise is Twenty two and is a qualified dental nurse, but is now at Teesside uni completed her first year doing Paediatric nursing . and Beth who is Nineteen and is working as a groom at Laura Robinsons show jumping yard. I am an Ofsted registered childminder and provide a warm friendly home from home service for the children I look after. I provide a wide range of activities including woodland walks, visits to the beach and local park. Also with living on the farm we have many fields to run around in. I have Horses on the yard as this is also a livery. I also have a garden equipped with outdoor toys and a mud kitchen so the children get plenty of fresh air. In the home I provide arts and crafts, baking, story time and have a dedicated play room full of toys and learning aids for all age ranges of children. I provide healthy home cooked meals and snacks with plenty of fruit and vegetables which is included in the price. I work with parents to ensure that your child has a happy comfortable and enjoyable day with me.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for a number of years and have three children of my own. I have also volunteered helping in the nursery schools and sitting listening to children reading in the class room. I have recently had my Ofsted inspection, where I achieved a "good" rating.
My Qualifications
I have a Paediatric first aid certificate and food hygiene. I have also attended safe guarding Children courses.
