About Me
I am a QTS qualified tutor, Forest School Leader and Home Educator based in Beccles, with over 25 years experience in education. I offer bespoke, child centred, companion and small-group learning/ mentoring opportunities in all subject areas for children aged 8+ At home, out and about, and even in the wild... Key focus: Practical skills development through experiential learning to support conceptual understanding, with a focus on self-directed education for neuro-inclusiveness, engagement and wellbeing.
My Experience
I have over 25 years working in a diverse range of educational settings, with learners of all ages, in England and abroad, inside and outside the classroom. I have received commendation for my teaching across school curriculums at primary level (including Spanish French and Science), and leading English Language and Social Theory at Secondary and GCSE.
As a Forest School practitioner, a graduate in Anthropology, and Fellow of the School of Social Entrepreneurs, I am particularly interested in promoting holistic, neuro-inclusive, learner-centred and self-directed education pedagogies - working with young people to encourage creative engagement with ideas surrounding community & lifelong learning, enterprise and social & ecological sustainability.

My Availability
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 11am-3pm during term-time.
