I am a highly professional, caring & reliable nanny with a good sense of humour and a no nonsense approach, BUT being silly is part of the job!
I am energetic, organised, responsible, calm in an emergency.
I enjoy being at home with children, being active spending time outside and doing creative things.
I like working with a more child led approach where there is time for things to be explored & investigated. Connections to environment and nature feature in my life daily.
I am interested in Waldorf/Steiner and Montessori education and have experience of both in roles I have undertaken.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience from many years of childcare as a nanny for people from a range of backgrounds including HNW individuals & diplomatic families. I’ve worked in Asia on temporary assignments as a proxy parent & maternity nanny.
Copious quantities of experience as a 24hour Maternity Nanny-including twins, premature babies, reflux issues and breastfeeding support.
Nursery, crèche, parent and child group leader roles, escorting children overseas, proxy parenting, holiday nanny.
Kindergarten assistant at Michael Hall Steiner School Sussex, children’s event leader & a pony party assistant!
Experience with children with additional medical needs-Autistic spectrum, Epilepsy, Eczema, severe allergies.
Teenage mentor support.
Extensive home education (with my own child) with an emphasis on child led learning & experiences.
Currently I volunteer at a language group for refugees, providing children’s activities. I also volunteer in my local school with outdoor learning.
I am a competent cooking from scratch and more complicated recipes.
I am confident with pets, horses, farm animals, driving large vehicles.
Nothing much fazes me, I have probably seen or heard it before!

My Availability
I am looking now (from last login) for part time work 2-3 days a week.
Overnight, proxy parenting, maternity nanny, night nanny, ad hoc care, temp work, babysitting.
Currently I am not looking for a Full-time role or wrap around care, ie before/after school
Babysitting-min 3 hours
Childcare - min 4 hours
Ideally seeking 30-45mins travel for work. Or willing to overnight if further away or early starts required.
