I originally trained, and worked as a Nursery Nurse, caring for children from birth to 16 in a variety of settings including Nursery and Primary Schools. During my Nursery Nurse career I worked as a Nanny in homes, and for private events and weddings.
I specialised in Special Educational Needs, providing 1:1 health and developmental care in primary schools, progressing into Paediatric Nursing. I have been a NMC Registered Children’s Nurse for 4 years.
Most recently, I have enjoyed supporting new families and their newborns, as a Maternity Nurse.
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Child Care Learning and Development (NVQ3 equivalent).
I am First aid and safeguarding trained.
CRB/DBS checked.
NMC registered Children’s Nurse.
I have additional training in: Breastfeeding Support, Sleep Support, Care of The New Born Infant / Postnatal Support, SEN / ADHD / ASD.
I have a full driving license, with business insurence and Isofix.
