About Me

Hello,
I am a Gemma and available for tutoring and babysitting.

I have been a qualified primary school teacher since 2015. I have also been working with children through childcare, tutoring, school-based roles and drama and dance related, since my teens.

For tutoring, I take a child-centered approach. Initial sessions will be an opportunity for me to learn what motivates the pupil, what concerns they have and to look at the school progress. Confidence and interest are the fundamentals in all my teaching methods.
I also take on groups for tutoring both in school-educated and home-educated.

Babysitting roles I am also available for. I have a 6 yr old, who is home educated. He often comes with me to bookings and bonds well with the other children. He's confident and caring, often instigating adventure and explorative play with his peers.

My experience covers newborn to teens, SEN and free-range wildings.
