About Me
I am a fun loving energetic nanny that believes all children learn through curiosity through the outdoors, nature, kindness to all others . All children are individuals and so should be nurtured and cared for as such and so this is thought about when planning for your little or big ones but also taking into consideration the safety, well-being and safeguarding of each child.
My Experience
I have worked in a children’s nursery for about ten years after bringing up my own two children.
I have been a baby room leader, cook, safeguarding lead and manager up until November 2020.
I have experience of working with ages from theee months to fives years and specialised in the baby room. As well as having the hands on experience of being a mum to my own to children now 35 and 25 I am level 3 qualified in children’s and young people’s workforce (childcare practitioner), plus I am advanced paediatric first aid trained and have been nominated safe-guarding lead.
I would say that my children, whether babies or pre-school have lived my way of learning through play and fun leaning towards natural play using mainly things we find in our own surroundings, even using leaves and twigs for art and den building in the garden.
I do strongly believe that when children are engaged, happy and curious they will learn at their full potential . I also believe that our little ones manners , self-care and kindness to others are just as important and so I approach self-care in a a way that children are proud of what they achieve and to do this I work closely with parents to find out their child’s interests etc.
As both my children are grown as left home I can be flexible when I can work.

My Availability
I am an early riser so can be available for early starts but like to be home with my husband after day 6 in the evening unless I am needed for the odd evening which I would be happy to do.
I can work part-time or full-time five days a week and on some Saturday / Sunday mornings.
I am available to work immediately .
I can do drop off and pick up from school or nursery
