Hello, My Name is Megan Daly, I am currently 23 years old, I am very excited to start my career being a nanny. I know that there is no better feeling than helping children develop and explore to their potential with the guidance from my knowledge, understanding and skills. I enjoy doing many activities with children including baking, as baking gives the children a chance to explore new textures and enjoy the feeling of pride when they present their master pieces. I live in Trafford currently.I am currently on maternity leave with my little boy and have been since the end if August. I worked a 40 hour week over 4 days previously so I am used to long hours. I am currently exploring different options for when i return to work. Nannying has always been a career path i would like to go down and if 2020 had shown us anything the biggest thing i have learnt is to take risks and appreciate the little things. Including your little bundles of joy. I cant wait to hear from you.
My Experience
I have work in a Nursery setting currently. I have been working as part of a team in a Childminders setting, which has enabled me to grow my knowledge understanding and skills. The most enjoyable part of my job is watching the children explore and experience new senses. From the age of 12 i have been volunteering with children I helped out with my local Rainbows unit which involved me using my imagination to create activities for the children to do for example model building, many of these activities included working as a team and using their imagination. I also volunteered at my local running group, I helped out in the year 5 group, where i helped the children believe in their potential by using positive rewards and encouragement. I enjoy living an active life (from the age of 7 I ran in cross country races) I go on runs and long walks with my 2 dogs, I also enjoy making the activities I do with the children active and fun. I believe that children learn a lot from being in the outdoors. Update: I now have 3 years experience working in a nursery.

Paediatrics First Aid Course
Safe Guarding Introduction
And many more courses online and at meetings.
