Hello,
I am a recent graduate from the Edinburgh Collage of Art where i specialised in sculpture and participated in many social work/care modules. I love creative, outdoor activities and i am generally very active. I am confident, compassionate and enjoy my role as a Nursery Practitioner which has influenced me to take on wider childcare roles.
I am english spoken and have experience with the current Scottish curriculum for excellence meaning i am able to assist with home schooling or home work assistance.
My Experience
I am currently a preschool room leader where i have been for over two years now but also have experience with the younger ages. This job has enabled me to care for large groups of children whilst providing fun and educational activities for the children. During this role i have participated in extra circular activities such as taking the children swimming, nature school, as well starting up a weekly intergenerational group with a local care home where i took groups of 8 to sing songs, play games and make crafts with the residents there.
I have studied multiple courses in childcare and Art therapy which has gained me an insight into therapeutic arts with children and young adults.

My Availability
I currently work 4 days a week with one day off and weekends available. If suitable i could arrange flexible weekday care for the one day off.
