About Me

My name is melanie and I live in reddish/dane bank area, i have been childminding for 2 years now after completing a childminding course. I started my process in 2014 then went on to complete a level 3 teaching assistant qualification.I worked in a primary school volunteering in nursery and reception class, i also worked in a nursery as a nursery assistant, working in a nursery with children from birth to 5. i have lots of experience with working with children age birth upwards and have lots of training in safeguarding children, child protection data protection and first aid . I have 4 children of my own which is why I took the step to become a childminder . My home has lots of toys for all different age groups and a lovely outdoor space with a mud kitchen, bikes, a slide and a reading area. I have a great relationship with dane bank primary school and offer school pick up and drop off to this school. I also work alongside other childminders in my area and plan days out and activities with the childminders and their mindees. I offer days out to playgroups, soft play areas, pet shop trips and days out to parks and farms. I have recently been inspection by Ofsted and given a grading of good with outstanding aspects. I csn also now offer funding.
