About Me
I am a happy and bubbly mother of 3 amazing children aged 28, 25 and 16 and I currently live with 2 of my kids (the middle child has moved out!) and my Husband of 24 years. I had an incredible experience raising my 3 kids. And my passion for helping children develop and grow into kind and positive people has also been a career choice having been a Teaching Assistant for the last 18 years. I love my family, I have an amazing, supportive network and I have aspirations to continue my childcare and help another family in need!
My Experience
I am a well qualified teaching assistant with 18 years experience. Prior to becoming a Teaching Assistant, I was a carer in a Residential And Nursing home caring for the elderly and providing physical and emotional support.
Since becoming a Teaching Assistant, most of this time has been spent within Early Years but I have spent plenty of time with students in KS1 and KS2. My experience in an academic environment is accompanied by my experience in a happy home bringing up 3 amazing children.
It’s not easy to bring up a child but I am confident in saying that I have the skills, the patience and the right level of care to help another family. A Nanny requires the right knowledge and know how when working with other children.I believe that I have this as well as the empathy, care, patience and understanding to ensure that your child is comfortable in my care.
I am all about making sure that children enjoy their time with me as well as learning the importance of values and manners. I have many years experience in planning activities that are recreational as well as academic. I also lead many sports clubs so I am comfortable supervising physical and outdoors activities.
Each of my children have gone on to work with children and young adults in a variety of capacities which I hope will demonstrate the fun, caring and supportive environment I like to create.
All in all, I have many years experience working with children, I have a happy home with 3 incredible children, a naturally nurturing personality and lots left to give!
