About Me
Hello! I am a 20 year old, Second Year Medical Student at King's College London- on my way to become a doctor! I am looking for a part time job in order to further enhance my skillset and experience, so that I am ready to tackle anything that jumps at me in the future. Not just myself, but also in the children that I take care of, I hope to inspire their creativity so that they can have better future prospects. I am a British-born-Cantonese and so I can most certainly introduce the Cantonese language to your children if you like. This early exposure to a tonal language can offset an interest, in the children, to language learning- an advantage in any career.
I have two DBS certificates (both are enhanced and covers both children and adult sectors), however, I do not feel comfortable in uploading them onto a website so that is why you cannot view them here, however, I would be happy to present them to you in person if you wish.
My Experience
I had a work experience placement at a care home for a period of 3 months, where I took care of elderly patients that were suffering from diseases, such as dementia and Parkinson's disease. I was surprised how different my expectations were, compared to how my placement really went: the residents at this care home were extremely lively and fun, which made the experience all the more rewarding and enjoyable. I looked forward to seeing the residents every week so that we could play games, like dominoes and bingo, as well as sing and create art, together.
I also had work experience at a local primary school, where I had the responsibility to oversee the children while during break time, help them with maths and spelling, did guided reading with them and acted as a good role model while we ate lunch together.

-GCSEs: Maths (A*), Further Maths (A*), English Literature (A*), English Language (A), History (A*), French (A*), Art (A*), Textiles (A*), RE (A*), Biology (A*), Chemistry (A*), Physics (A*).
-AS level: Art (A).
-A levels: Biology (A), Chemistry (A), Maths (A)
-St John's Ambulance First Aid Certificate
-Youth Arts award for having my artwork displayed in The Lakes Gallery two times
My Availability
I am available all day during weekends. If you would like, we could arranged a time during the weekday if I am free! Overnight stays will have to be further explored.
