Hi there ! I'm Clémence, I'm a French and Canadian girl from Paris, living in London since 2018.
I graduated from UCL this year with First Class Honours, having studied Modern Languages (German and Italian) so if needed, I can speak to your children in French, German, English or Italian and I'm happy to do homework with them in any of these languages.
I am now working as a Fashion Copywriter and would love to do some extra babysitting on the side again, either in the evening or at the weekend.
I have extensive experience babysitting children of all ages. As an older sister, I grew up babysitting my sister, then our neighbour's baby when I was 13 and continued babysitting children in Paris, and then a little bit in London until the pandemic hit. Now that it's safe again, I'm happy to babysit your child or your baby!
Also, I received my first aid diploma through training with my school when I was 15, so I know basic first aid moves in case of an emergency.
My Experience
I have previously worked with children, babysitting a one-year old when I was 13 and children under ten during my teenage years.
I frequently babysat an 8-year old French girl when I was 16 and also tutored her once a week in English. The same year I volunteered to look after a severely autistic child and became part of a planned therapy with other volunteers in an attempt to help him develop his language skills, which were very limited when I first worked with him. In January 2020, I found an evening babysitting job on childcare.co.uk and babysat two lovely young girls twice a week. I picked them up from school, made them a snack and an early supper and helped them with homework in French and English. It was a pleasure babysitting them but I had to stop due to the pandemic. Now that it's safe again, I look forward to getting back into babysitting.
My Qualifications
I got the highest level for the French Baccalaureate (mention TRES BIEN, which equals to a First) and graduated from UCL this year with First Class Honours, having read German and Italian.
My Availability
I go to university from Monday to Thursday. I do not have any classes on Fridays. I am also available at the weekend and Monday and Thursday evenings.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
When I babysat Deborah, the young French girl, I was paid approximately 13€ per hour. I think something around that amount would be good.
