About Me
I'm an experienced childminder and housekeeper (great with pets too!) seeking work in Sheffield and Derbyshire over the next few months before I relocate to a nannying role in the Alps.
I bring a motivated and positive attitude to working with kids as I understand how much of an influence a child's environment can have. Whilst I am not a 'qualified' nanny, I am well experienced with childcare and am prepared for any scenario that may arise (also a reason I love working with kids because every day is an adventure!). I am highly adaptable and open-minded to any family situations, beliefs and ways of living. I am also a big believer in getting children outdoors and in nature to explore and learn.
In terms of cooking, I have basic food hygiene level 2 and have extensive experience working in child-friendly cafes where I have had incredible teachers who have shown me how to cook healthy meals and even salads (!!) that kids really enjoy.
I am clean, organised and efficient, which has allowed me to work as both a cleaner and childminder in the past.
I have a clean DBS check, car, and clean driver's licence.
My Experience
I have 7 years of experience as a nanny/childminder both full time and part time. Please feel free to ask for any references.
Experience includes:
2022: 3 months as a childminder over summer holidays for an 8 and 11 year old. Role included helping out with the school run, taking kids to extracurricular activities, evening and bedtime routines sometimes staying over, cooking evening meals, helping with homework and school projects, some weekend days where all meals were cooked and cleaning bi-weekly.
2017: Afterschool care for a 6 year-old. Role included school pick-up, homework, bedtime, cooking meals, and caring for 2 dogs as well.
2015 - 2019: Various part-time babysitting work from ages 3 - 13
Also:
Dog-walker - I am a regular dog walker for a number of clients.
Cleaner - I clean holiday lets part-time and have previous commercial cleaning training and experience.
