I will be charging £7 per hour.

I have a Diploma in Childcare and Education, Paediatric first aid, DBS, Public liability, Safeguarding of children, British Values, Healthy eating and portion sizes, Makaton too!

Experience; 38 years in a variety of settings including nurseries, primary schools and children's centres in a mixture of cultural settings in and around Bristol, Bath and The South West.

I am based in Lockleaze
( close to Gloucester Road - not far off Filton Road, Southmead Hospital, BAE, UWE, MOD, Horfield Sports Centre, Lockleaze Sports Centre also Filton Avenue, Horfield Health Centre and Filton Avenue School and local buses to town and UWE and Cheswick Village, but no through route )

My own family consists of six wonderful children with just one child living at home now!
Being a grand-parent and my own well-educated children flown the nest and making their own dreams come true, I live with my husband (DBS checked and passed for an assistant but only use as an emergency!), and a grey striped cat, Ernie Stripes :)

I have a very large happy home making sure that all children are made to feel welcome and part of our family, following parent's wishes on how they would like their child to be if any different to how I would consider 'care', nutrition, dietary requirements, religious beliefs! Special requirements or special needs.
I have a wide and varied choice of toys to suit all children's learning and their individual stage of development and abilities.
I have a variety of play toys and equipment inside and outside - my garden is large, fenced and secure - with lots of natural and exciting things to explore. There are enclosed spaces as well as a tree to explore and make dens.
Outdoor wear is available, welly boots and all-in-one weatherproof suits but it is up to all parents to clothe their child adequately for all year round weather!

I drive with 40 years experience and a good knowledge of places to go for days out and plenty of places to see. I would take children on day trips to include: Bristol Concorde Museum, Old Down Country Park, The Wild Place Project, The Hangar and other soft play area's, St.Werbugh's and also Windmill Hill City Farms and local parks, play days and toddler groups within my own or the child's home area. We are a member of our local library and go for story days and fun play days there, as well as local events for the children.

I am excited to share your child's experiences in their 'Learning Journals' through Tapestry online(these follow learning targets to comply with the EYFS) which will include short observations, activities to help them learn and explore things that may be new to them as well as involving parent's to share any experiences they may have to be involved in the children's learning. I am registered with the ICO and follow GDPR guidelines.

I am an easy-going, calm, fun, loving, very enthusiastic professional who cares about each child individually and the learning and development of all children in my care. All children's learning and development will be recorded professionally and shared regularly with the parent and have possible reviews twice a year.

I am experienced and qualified to be able to provide healthy nutritious meals, snacks and cooked fresh healthy food for children throughout the day.
