Hello, I'm Polly. I am a 23 year old student in Leeds, studying Sociology. I would describe my personality as outgoing, bubbly and positive. In my spare time I am very sporty and enjoy playing football, running and a daily walk no matter the weather. I also enjoy embroidery and spending time with family, friends and animals.
My Experience
Previous to coming to university I completed a Level 3 Early Years apprenticeship where I worked in a federation of two pre-schools and primary schools for two years; part of the course was also to gain experience with working with babies from 0-12months which I completed over three months and loved. One of the pre-schools I worked at was a forest school, I found this ethos fascinating and loved the education it gave children, I would love to bring some of this ethos into my childcare. After completing my Level 3 I moved to London for six months to nanny for three children in Clapham aged, 5, 7 and 10. I adored this job and the experiences it allowed me to have. Since then I have been babysitting some of my old students on an ad-hoc basis but would love to get back into childcare as it truly is a passion of mine.
