About Me
I am a qualified primary school teacher. I absolutely love the career I’m in. When observed I have been known to be kind, warm, fun and engaging. I am excited to build my own experience and create an online environment for children that engages them through this turbulent time out of school.
I am currently looking to do childcare/ babysitting for the remainder of this academic year and over the summer. Please feel free to ask any questions if you are interested.
My Experience
I have had experience teaching and planning for Year 6 (10-11), Year 3 (7-8) and Year 2 (6-7). I am happy to work with a child of any age as I have a great understanding of the curriculum and the pedagogies required. My specialist age range is 5-11. My specialist subjects are Art and Design and Music. I am confident with my core subjects knowledge and love teaching Maths and Literacy. I have also had experience teaching in an Islamic faith school, this means I have the understanding of how to adapt teaching to be appropriate for a child. This also means I have worked with children that use English as an additional language.
My Qualifications
11 GCSE’s (A*-C) at Wolstanton High School.
A- level qualifications in Business Studies, Law and English Languge at Newcastle Under Lyme College.
2:1 in BA (Hons) Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at Birmingham City University.
