About Me
I am enthusiastic and believe every child regardless of gender and ethnicity has the right to be supported in a nurtured and loving environment. I am energetic, however, patient at the same time. I like to follow the interests of the children in my care and develop their interests/hobbies from there. I personally have vast experience of bringing up newborns all the way through to young adulthood.
I am ofsted registered and have public liability insurance.
My Experience
My working life has been centred around education where I have taught and cared for children from ages 2-11 years old. I do have some experience working with children who have autism or special educational needs. The last few years I have been working in early years as a children's Nursery Practitioner which I thoroughly enjoy. I am versed in the EYFS curriculum and have had many opportunities to provide age-appropriate activities catering for the individual child's needs. I have a enhanced DBS, first aid paediatric training, and like to study short courses to help keep me up-to-date with children's development. Recently I have completed both level 1 and 2 Makaton as I believe that all children have the right when it comes to inclusion.
