My Summary

My Experience

I have 3 grown up children of my own and 2 gorgeous grandchildren. I have worked in education for almost 19 years with a local council. I started off in primary school with a child with additional needs. 7 years later I moved on to a secondary school where I was head of English in the SEN department and study resource manager. I supported and nurtured 2 boys with down syndrome throughout their secondary education. To this day, I am still very close to them both and their families. I currently work in a children's centre delivering groups and family support. We are affiliated to 3 nurseries withe children from 6 months to 4 years and frequently support in the nursery setting.

My Qualifications

I have 7 GCSE's and 3 A levels. I also have an array of childcare qualifications I have obtained whilst working including: paedeatric first aid, safeguarding level 3 (as I am safeguarding lead) sleep training, baby massage, nutrition training, ELKLAN trained, food hygiene level 2 mental health and awareness training in adolescents and have attended many more training courses for which I am certificated.

My Availability

Ideally I would like to work 3 long days a week. These days are flexible. I am also happy to do evening sitting but only occasionally

My Fees

• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

As I have always worked for an authority, I have never had to answer this question as I have always been offered an annual wage.
