I am a mother of two grown-up children. I have worked with children since I was 16 years old, and I have gained lots of experience within a nursery setting, parental support groups, SEN groups, and more. I was the leader of a pre-school playgroup for 16 years, where I gained lots of knowledge throughout a variety of training courses, including Child Behaviour, Promoting Positive Behaviour, Autism Awareness, and Developing Language.
My Experience
I have over 20 years of childcare experience working with babies through to teenagers. I have worked in a mother and baby unit supporting new mums. I have worked with disadvantaged families and cared for children in a residential home. I have experience working with children with SEN in a variety of settings. I hold a level 5 in Childcare and a BA (Hons) in Therapeutic Childcare.
